Injured man airlifted to hospital after crash on the A20 near Hythe

Police investigate the collision on the A20 between a car and van

A man has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious crash on the A20 near Hythe.

Officers were called just before 8am today following reports of a collision between a white Vauxhall Corsa car and a white Mercedes Sprinter van on the A20 close to the junction 11 roundabout for the M20.

One man has been taken to hospital in London by air ambulance with life threatening injuries. A second man has been taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Officers from the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit are at the scene investigating the collision.
