Livingstone Lodge offers visitors African safari dreams

Livingstone Lodge, the African themed over-night experience at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park has been listed as a finalist in the Visit England Awards for Excellence 2012.

The award winning attraction is up for an accolade in the Best Tourism Experience category of the awards.

Director, Bob O’Connor said: “It is an absolute honour to be nominated as a finalist in this category – these awards really are a credit to the dedicated team who work hard to make this an exceptional product.”

The winners will be announced on May 22 and all finalists are guaranteed to receive either a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Highly Commended Award in their respective categories. Livingstone Lodge offers visitors a night under the stars watching zebras, girraffes and more animals using the nearby watering hole.

The experience includes African fine dining and safaris at dusk and dawn.
