Qualifiers and events at the Wye Beagles Public Dog Show
Dog lovers will be delighted to hear that the Wye Beagles Public Dog Show in May will host a new qualifiying event for a national comeptition.
At the Kent event in Wye, near Ashford, the competition has been granted qualifier status for the new South of England Lurcher Champion of Champions Show.
The Working Terrier and Lurcher Shows are part of a national tournament with the Kent winner going through to the next round.
The event is officially Kennel Club Licenced and will also offer fun classes and stalls for canine enthusiasts. Judging starts at 11.30am for the Companion Dog Show, Working Terrier Show, Lurcher Show and obedience classes. There will also be Terrier Racing and a Novelty Scurry.
The raffle proceeds will be split between the Kent Air Ambulance and the Wye Beagles.
